Canyoneering Day Tour

DETAILS:

One day of fully guided canyoneering in the beautiful Capitol Reef National Park!  Canyoneering involves Hiking, Down-Climbing, Rapelling, Scrambling and occasionally wading through some water.  No prior experience is needed.  Moderate physical fitness is recommended (ability to hike 1-4 miles).  Meet your guide and go over the safety essentials as well as any concerns you may have.  We tailor the experience to your group, since it is a private trip!

PACKING LIST:

• Clothing that can be torn

  • Pants and long sleeves are recommended
    

• Layers for warmth

  • Temperatures can be much cooler in canyons
    

• 2-3 liters of water

  • Bottles with some rigidity - no bladders
    

• Sun Protection

  • Hat, Sun shirt, Sunscreen
    

• Closed Toe Shoes

  • Ideally with a low profile tread
    

• Lunch/Snacks
